

Our startup under StartGate TEKMER has secured a $500,000 investment in the gaming-edutech sector.
The game studio Bucked Games, operating under StartGate TEKMER, has received a $500,000 investment in a funding round led by Insha GSYF, managed by Albaraka Portfolio Management. The round also included participation from Playgate Ventures, Kayacan Ventures, Nazan Demir, and Furkan Tanrıverdi.
Bucked Games will use the new investment to expand into global markets and grow its product portfolio. The company plans to bring its vision of gamified learning to international audiences. Focused on developing mobile games and interactive educational content, Bucked Games was founded in 2021 under Bahçeşehir University’s BUGLab TEKMER.
Blending fun mobile game experiences with education, Bucked Games creates interactive solutions that enhance children’s learning processes. The startup reports that it has reached millions of users worldwide, having launched over 20 mobile games, including titles with more than 2.5 million players. Additionally, the company’s educational games have been used in over 300 schools, reaching more than 100,000 students.
By placing pedagogical accuracy at the center of all its content, Bucked Games aims to build a sustainable learning model that goes beyond entertainment. Through its games, the company supports children’s cognitive development, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
Ahmet Can Yılmaz, the founder of Bucked Games, stated that the company plans to integrate artificial intelligence into its in-game experiences. With this new investment, Bucked Games aims to develop dynamic scenarios, adaptive difficulty levels, and personalized interaction models tailored to each player.
